Just a question

If 34/50 states (more than half the nation) are setting in place laws AGAINST government-mandated health insurance (in favor of other plans, which the Democrats have roundly ignored, to solve the same problem), WHY is Obama meeting with senators and congressmen to hurry his agenda along?

Is there a lack of understanding on the federal level that the senators and congressmen are supposed to represent THE PEOPLE, and not the President?

I keep noticing that the Republicans and Independents are talking about the problem being "Lack of access to Health Care" and the Democratic Congress are talking about the problem being "Lack of access to Health Insurance." Two different things, which require different solutions. Personally, you all know I don't see lack of access to Health Insurance as the problem except that the insurance companies are the ones who are guaranteeing (I almost said "insuring"....hahaha) lack of access to health CARE.
