"Mom, I got a dream and I let you sleep."

Translation: ?

Your guess is as good as mine. When I asked, "Did you dream that you let me sleep?" he said, "Yes. Um. I don't know."

Sounds to me like "I had a dream (bad, good?) and I woke up, but I didn't come and get you to wake you up. I let you sleep."
That's my guess.
